The Rieter Award 2005 has been awarded to Ms. Wei Mengyuan (China), Ms. Uzma Syed (Pakistan), Ms. M. Priyanka (India), Ms. Gonca Özcelik and Mr. Gün Sazak Kozanoglu (Turkey).
The presentation will take place during a symposium or customer event in the respective country of origin. A visit to Switzerland is part of the award. The Selection of the winners resulted from close co-operation with universities and professors. The award honors students or entrants to the textile sector

| who have distinguished themselves by excellent work and great commitment.
Traditionally, the winners also present their final work during their one-week visit to Winterthur. The high training standard of the textile universities is reflected in the contents, as in the presentations, which become more demanding and interesting from year to year.
This year's award week took place from Sept 5-10 During their visit, the award winners got to know Rieter, its products, its culture and values and in particular its employees and management
