Turkey's leading yarn and knitted fabric producers, Topkapi yarn, is expanding capacity of fine count cotton yarn spinning and building its fourth plant at Hadimkoy in Istanbul.
The company to invest US$30 million in the new facility and will be competed by the year end. This

| plant would market its products in Europe and US in addition to domestic market. Established in 1972 in Istanbul, Topkapi yarn produces 100 per cent cotton yarn and mixed synthetics. Its daily capacity is 30 tons of yarn and 50 tons of knitted fabrics and 30 per cent of its production is sold to the domestic market while rest is exported.
