Juapong Textiles Limited (JTL), is to restart its operations by the beginning of April this year, informed the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Alan Kyerematen. Technical evaluation confirmed that the machinery and equipment were in good conditions and a comprehensive plan had been drawn to start factory operation. | investors, both foreign and local to put in extra equity into the company as part of a restructuring exercise.
The minister added that, the former management of JTL has also been consulted for a foolproof management and operational plan so that the company might start production of grey cloth at competitive prices. Kyerematen said that both Tex Style (Gh) Limited (GTP) and Akosombo Textiles Limited had agreed to buy all the grey cloth to be manufactured by the factory.
