TRUETZSCHLER has taken a 30 % share in ERKO-Textilmaschinen GmbH. The company will operate under the name of ERKO TRUETZSCHLER Nonwoven GmbH in the future. The office of the company is located in Duelmen, and is under the management of the company founder and acting partner, Mr. Erwin Kock. ERKO TRUETZSCHLER will offer the complete nonwoven-machinery program, from bale opener to roller card, lapper and web-drafter.
The product programs of TRUETZSCHLER and ERKO will be consolidated and marketed worldwide under the technical direction of ERKO TRUETZSCHLER. The classical Truetzschler products - like Automatic bale opener BLENDOMAT, Fine Opener TUFTOMAT, and especially the card feeding system SCANFEED – will continue to be part of the ERKO TRUETZSCHLER program. As in the past, ERKO TRUETZSCHLER will produce the well known and successful Erko products, like bale openers, mixing and

| weighing systems, as well as card feeders, roller cards, lappers and web-drafters, and equip them with standardized system controls. In addition, the customers will be offered individual solutions for various requirements, e.g. in the areas of automotive, geo-textiles and also hygiene. The application technology department at ERKO TRUETZSCHLER in Duelmen will be expanded and offers solutions all the way to the finished products for all types of applications.
ERKO TRUETZSCHLER will have a worldwide presence, with its own sales department as well as its own agencies. It will be able to attend to the nonwoven manufacturers by offering complete installations, starting from upgrading existing installations all the way to after sales service from one source, by utilizing the Truetzschler subsidiaries, service centres and spare parts stores. The technical and technological clothing service of TRUETZSCHLER Card Clothing is also part of this.
