Bombay Dyeing recently launched its first ever display centre outside India in Dhaka city. The company recently signed a deal authorising the A F Holdings Ltd., owned by Mr. Parveen F Chowdhury, to represent and sell the company’s products in Bangladesh.
As there is no strong brand in Bangladesh, there is unlimited potential of their products, particularly for bed sheets and towels, this is according to the company. | outside India where Bombay Dyeing has opened its show room of bed sheets and towels. The company has initial target of selling its products worth Indian Rs 1crore annually to its Bangladeshi partner. Now they will open several outlets of Bombay Dyeing in Dhaka and Chittagong. Earlier during the month, Bombay Dyeing also filed an Industrial Enterpreneur Memorandum (IEM) with the government (Ministry of Commerce and Industry) for setting up a textile-processing unit at Pune. Bombay Dyeing (Q, N,C,F)* & Mfg Company is among the gainers at the exchanges and is currently ruling at Rs. 375.00 at the BSE, up 14.36 per cent. 317147 shares of Bombay Dyeing & Mfg Company have been traded at the BSE.
