During October-December 2005 the total net profit of 235 textile companies increased by 103.23% to Rs 486.75 crore from the level of Rs 239.51 crore during October-December 2004. The sales of this group also increased by 7.51% during the third quarter and net profit to sales also increased from 2.51% during October-December 2004 to 4.75% during October-December 2005.
