The meeting between the Turkish under secretariat of foreign trade and Chinese trade ministry lasted for two days. Earlier Turkey had decided to apply quotas on 44 categories of Chinese textile products in 2006. Turkish authorities have invited Chinese officials to a consultation meeting on December 19th and presented them with a report explaining applicability of quotas.
