Bombay Dyeing is planning to set up a 165,000 tons per annum PSF plant at the existing Dimethyl Terephthalate (DMT) plant site. The PSF facility is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2006. Company is looking for this downstream expansion with the aim to consume its own DMT

| production as sale of DMT is getting difficult with the advent of new continuous polymerization plants and PTA capacities in the country. It is also planning to renovate its existing retail shops to increase footfalls and register its presence in malls and high street centers offering international appeal and extended product range in the bed and bath linen.
