The flagship of the AV Birla Group, has lined up an investment of Rs. 100 crore to manufacture cotton and blended textiles through expansion and modernization. The company decided to enter the blended-cotton segment following a robust demand for cotton textiles from the urban and semi-urban markets. According to the company, its cotton textiles would reach the market by April next year.
