Malden Mills proudly announced the obtaining of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification and that the latest styles will be tested for approval on a rolling basis. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 guarantees that the textile is free of any harmful substances or poses any threat to human health. The non-lenient Certification includes added applications such as durable water repellents, anti-microbial treatments and wicking agents as well as the original yarn fibers.
Malden Mills Product Marketing Manager, Karen Beattie stated, "We felt it was important for Malden Mills to participate in the Oeko-Tex Certification process to support a uniform safety standard on harmful substances in textiles. We are very proud to meet and exceed their requirements.
