Mr. H.E Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, President of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) (September 12, 2005) inaugurated the Autumn 2005 edition of Motexha, the leading fashion and textiles exhibition in the Middle East. The trade show is being held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) from September 12-15th in Halls 2 and 3.
Motexha is the foremost platform for bringing brands, government agency representatives, franchise agents and fashion trades under one roof to conduct business, generate franchise opportunities and forge partnerships, and is playing host to 500 companies and

| brands from 36 countries and over 5000 trade visitors .
H.E Obaid Humaid Al Tayer stated, “Textiles is a rapidly growing industry in the Middle East, and one of the oldest in Dubai, where it sustains import worth 12 billion dirhams. Trade exhibitions such as Motexha make a large contribution towards the development of their respective industries."
