The Southern India Mills Association (SIMA), representating the organised textile mills in South India will organise a five-day international Expo from July 27 2006. The Expo, third in a series, is aimed at bringing together textile machinery spares manufacturers under one roof, SIMA said, in a press release here today.

| 1.40 lakh crore investment in the textile industry by 2010, industry friendly policies and abolition of quotas from January this year. Large scale investments are taking place in all the sectors of the textile industry in the country.
The Expo would provide tremendous opportunities to the textiles machinery, spare manufacturers, entrepreneurs and technocrats from various sectors to formulate their future strategy with regard to Textile Spares, accessories and equipments, the release added.
